A position is available in our Mt Maunganui office which involves all aspects of field surveying and office management of projects, including the preparation of resource and land use consents. The role will suit an ambitious surveyor who thrives on challenges and responsibility.

You will be working with a dedicated team of professionals on a range of work in Mt Maunganui and the greater Bay of Plenty and Waikato areas. You will have a desire and ability to tackle complex projects in a busy environment, as well as being able to organise and prioritise work to fulfil client expectations.

Our preferred candidate will have the following attributes:-

  • Licenced Cadastral Surveyor

  • Be a member of or be eligible for membership of the NZIS

  • Use/be familiar with 12D software and Landonline

  • Be willing to learn engineering design for land development and subdivision

  • Demonstrable communication and inter-personal skills

Due to ongoing growth, RPC Land Surveyors is seeking a Survey Technician with 2 – 6 year’s experience to join our team in Mount Maunganui.

RPC Land Surveyors are a well-respected, long established surveying company with offices in Auckland, Cambridge and Mount Maunganui.

We have an exciting opportunity for a civil engineer to join our dynamic team.  This role is flexible on location, choose to be based in either Auckland, Cambridge or Mount Maunganui.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in land development, have a strong knowledge of engineering principles, codes & standards and have completed their CPEng (or close to).  You will be involved in planning & conducting a diverse range of design civil works. Ideally, you will have the ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team, have strong analytical & design skills as well as expertise in project and client management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise in the development and implementation of engineering designs

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes and regulations
