Paul Harvey, a much-respected member of our Survey Team has become a Shareholder of RPC Land Surveyors. A member of the New Zealand Institute of Surveyors (NZIS) and Consulting Surveyors New Zealand (CSNZ).
Paul Robert Harvey was born 28 August 1986 at Rotorua, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, the eldest son… .Paul has been with RPC for over 6 years with a large 3 and half year ‘sabbatical’ in the middle. Paul has been a Surveyor ever since graduating from Otago University 10 years ago. He gained his Cadastral Surveyors Licence after what he calls a hard ‘slog’ in 2012 and left for his OE shortly after. After a decent spell of travelling he continued to apply his trade as a Surveyor in Central London Highrise developments and infrastructure mining projects on Barrow Island, Western Australia. After a marriage proposal under Big Ben, Paul and his wife Erin returned to the mighty Bay of Plenty and have settled in Papamoa – both love the lifestyle and tranquil nature of the Bay.
Paul is a relaxed character and is driven in his work. He takes pride in working with a range of clients to grow relationships and bring about successful land developments. He has great experience and knowledge in Topographical Surveys, Land Transfer Surveys and Subdivision Engineering.
In Paul’s spare time he enjoys surfing, eating Dutch food, watching SBW play footy, attending to his fruit trees and generally just enjoying the outdoors. His ultimate love is travelling with multiple beach stops along the route, and as he says ‘it keeps all parties happy when there’s sand, surf and shops’. Besides keeping active, he relishes the opportunity to catch up with friends and family over a BBQ and few rums.
In summary eat, sleep, work, beach, repeat.
