Survey Technician

Location: Cambridge, Waikato

Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000/year

Nicklin CE is a land development consultancy, providing specialist advise and project management in Cambridge.  We are seeking a vibrant Survey Technician with 2-6 years’ experience to join our team.

This opportunity will see you taking ownership of the delivery of survey projects and working autonomously or as part of a team to ensure the delivery of quality projects with time and budget.

While your focus will be in the greater Waikato, you are joining a multidisciplinary firm where you will find the opportunity to be involved in large and varied projects for all Land Surveying, Resource Management, Planning and Land Development work.

The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to work on all aspects of field surveying and gain considerable ‘hands-on’ experience, led by a team of qualified professionals.  As a technician, you will have good skills in the field with GPS and Robotic Total Stations and will be familiar with 12D Model.  Ideally, this role would suit an ambitious surveyor who enjoys field work and processing their own work in the office.  You will be someone who embraces challenges, promotes innovation and enjoys sharing successes with your colleagues.
