RPC is working with the Tauranga City Council and consultants Tonkin and Taylor on the upgrade of the facilities at Omanawa Falls.  This involves a new car park area, improvements to the track and access, and new viewing platform.

A combination of survey techniques including drone surveying, GPS, and traditional survey methods were used to complete detailed site surveys of the areas required, so that the designs can be carried out. We had to get into some tricky and interesting areas to complete the site surveys.
Omanawa Falls has long been a favourite and scenic walking track in the Tauranga area, and we are pleased to be involved with this project to improve the facilities and public access.
