A rich & colourful past...

At RPC Land Surveyors, we’re far more than just the traditional image of a bloke with a theodolite. Our story is one of tradition intertwined with innovation.

Our journey began in 1970 when John Rainford established a small survey practice in Whakatane, laying the foundation for our commitment to precision and excellence. In 1984, Peter Crane’s appointment marked a significant milestone, and he now serves as Director at RPC, overseeing operations from our Mount Maunganui headquarters. Expanding in 2001 with the opening of our Auckland office, we strategically positioned ourselves to meet the growing demand for surveying services. Furthering our growth, in 2023, we partnered with Nicklin CE, extending our presence into the Waikato region.

but our story doesn’t end there...

We’re not complacent; we’re dedicated to staying updated with the latest surveying practices and technologies to remain leaders in our field. Embracing innovation and cutting-edge tools, we ensure exceptional results for our clients, fostering continuous growth driven by excellence and a commitment to facing tomorrow’s challenges.
